Throughout these Terms, “Saltwater Project”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Saltwater Project. “You” and “your” refer to the customer or user of our website.

Our online store is hosted by Shopify, which provides the ecommerce platform that allows us to sell our products to you.

2. THESE TERMS

These Terms & Conditions apply when you use our website or purchase products from Saltwater Project.

Please read them before placing an order. By placing an order through our website, you agree to these Terms.

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

3. PRODUCTS

We take reasonable care to describe and display our products accurately.

Colours and appearance may vary slightly depending on your device, screen settings and the manufacturing or printing process.

Our products must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose as required by UK consumer law.

Product availability may change and we may withdraw products from sale.

4. ORDERS

When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase the products in your basket.

You will receive an order confirmation at the email address you provide.

We reserve the right not to accept an order where there is a legitimate reason to do so, for example where a product is unavailable, payment cannot be authorised, there is an obvious pricing or description error, or we reasonably suspect fraudulent activity.

If we cannot fulfil an order that you have already paid for, we will contact you and refund the relevant amount.

Please check your order details carefully before submitting your order.

5. PRICES AND PAYMENT

Prices displayed on our website are in pounds sterling (GBP) unless stated otherwise.

The total price payable, including any applicable delivery charges, will be shown before you complete your purchase.

Payment is taken using the payment methods offered at checkout.

We take reasonable care to ensure prices are correct. If we discover an obvious pricing error after an order has been placed, we will contact you before fulfilling the affected item.

6. PRODUCTION, SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

Some Saltwater Project products are produced and fulfilled for us by third-party fulfilment partners.

Your contract remains with Saltwater Project. The use of a fulfilment or delivery partner does not reduce your statutory rights or our responsibilities to you.

Estimated delivery times and available delivery options will be shown where applicable. Delivery estimates are not guarantees, but we will take reasonable steps to deliver within the agreed period.

Unless another delivery period has been agreed with you, goods will normally be delivered within 30 days as required by applicable UK consumer law.

Please ensure that the delivery information supplied with your order is accurate.

7. CANCELLATIONS, RETURNS AND REFUNDS

Your rights to cancel an online order, return goods and receive refunds are explained in our Return & Refund Policy.

UK consumers will normally have a legal right to cancel an online purchase within 14 days after receiving the goods, subject to the exceptions provided by law.

Certain goods made to a customer's individual specifications or clearly personalised may be excluded from the standard change-of-mind cancellation right.

Our standard Saltwater Project designs are not treated as personalised merely because they are printed after an order is placed.

Nothing in our Returns & Refund Policy or these Terms affects your statutory rights in relation to faulty, damaged, misdescribed or otherwise non-conforming goods.

For return enquiries please contact:

support@saltwaterproject.co.uk

8. FAULTY OR INCORRECT PRODUCTS

If a product arrives faulty, damaged, incorrectly printed, is not as described, or you receive the wrong item, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible.

We may ask for your order number, details of the problem and photographs where appropriate so that we can investigate.

We will provide the remedy required by applicable UK consumer law.

Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights.

9. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The Saltwater Project name, branding, logos, artwork, designs, photographs, graphics, text and other original content displayed on this website belong to Saltwater Project or are used with permission from their respective owners.

They may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, modified, sold or used commercially without prior permission, except where permitted by law.

10. ACCEPTABLE USE

You must not misuse our website or knowingly introduce viruses, malicious software or other material that could damage or interfere with the website or its users.

You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to our website, the systems on which it is hosted or any connected systems.

11. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES AND LINKS

Our website may contain links to or use services provided by third parties, including payment, ecommerce, fulfilment and delivery providers.

Where you visit a third-party website, that website may have its own terms and privacy policies.

Saltwater Project remains responsible for its own obligations to you under the contract for products you purchase from us.

12. PRIVACY

We handle personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Shopify and other service providers may process information where necessary to operate our online store, process payments, fulfil orders and provide related services.

Please refer to our Privacy Policy for further information.

13. LIABILITY

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or your statutory rights relating to goods.

We are not responsible for losses that we could not reasonably have foreseen when the contract was formed or for losses resulting from circumstances for which we are not legally responsible.

These Terms do not exclude or restrict any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted under UK law.

14. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these Terms from time to time, for example to reflect changes to our business, website or applicable law.

The Terms applying to your purchase will be those in effect when your order is placed, except where a change is required by law.

15. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you will retain any mandatory protections and rights available to you under the laws applicable to you, including any rights concerning where legal proceedings may be brought.
